These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Embroaden website (embroaden.ai) and the purchase of digital products and services offered by Embroaden ("we," "us," "our"), operated by Ryan McCarthy in Chicago, Illinois.
By accessing our website or purchasing our products, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Business Description
Embroaden is an AI research lab and digital product company. We sell digital products including Notion templates, prompt libraries, diagnostic frameworks, evaluation toolkits, and research reports. We also offer consulting and research partnership services.
2. Products & Services
Our current product offerings include:
- The Prompt Palace — A Notion template containing 300+ curated AI prompts, prompt engineering frameworks, and educational materials. Delivered as a Notion template duplication link upon purchase.
- Research Reports — Commissioned deep-analysis reports on AI failure domains. Delivered as digital documents.
- Bespoke Analysis Partnerships — Custom research engagements governed by individual statements of work.
All products are digital goods delivered electronically. No physical goods are shipped.
3. Purchase & Payment
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your credit card information. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified.
4. Delivery
Digital products are delivered immediately after successful payment. For Notion templates, you will receive a link to duplicate the template into your own Notion workspace. For commissioned reports and partnership services, delivery timelines are specified at the time of engagement.
5. Refunds & Disputes
Please see our Refund & Dispute Policy for complete details. In summary: digital products are refundable within 7 days of purchase. Research partnerships are governed by their individual statements of work.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, products, frameworks, and materials on this website are the intellectual property of Embroaden and Ryan McCarthy unless otherwise stated. Purchased products are licensed for personal and professional use by the purchaser. You may not resell, redistribute, or publicly share purchased products without written permission.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Resell, redistribute, or publicly share purchased digital products
- Use our products to misrepresent their origin or creator
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy our website or products
- Use our services for any unlawful purpose
8. Limitation of Liability
Embroaden provides digital products and research services on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the fitness of our products for any particular purpose. Our total liability for any claim arising from the use of our products is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered customers. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cook County, Illinois.
